Another good run out for South Mens team ahead of the new season saw them lose 3-1 to EOSFL Premier League team Tynecastle FC at Ainslie Park today.
Following a tight first half hour with chances at either end, Tynecastle took the lead in the 35th minute. Score at Half Time 1-0.
Tynecastle extended their lead with a South OG in the 68th minute followed by a third on 78 minutes to lead 3-0. South pulled one back on 82 minutes through Josh Whitson and with no further scoring by either side the matched finished Tynecastle 3 Edinburgh South 1.
Next up is a friendly game Vs Hawick Royal Albert on Tuesday 16th July at Ainslie Park. Kick off is at 7pm.
